Venus! August 23, 2012
I literally can't remember the last book I've read that has had me this excited. There are so many discoveries in it that left me giggling to myself. It really does a good job of arguing the true purpose of the ancient temple, while displaying the advanced knowledge that their designers must have had--knowledge that even today is not commonly understood. It also sows together a number of religious themes throughout history, going all the way back to the Vedas, to show their common lineage. Really, if you're already thinking about reading this but are on the fence, just do it. I'm quite confident you won't regret it.

Adventure and Discovery, June 17, 2012
What I like most about this book is the author's ability to combine the complexities of geometry and astronomy with a wonderful sense of adventure and discovery. Here we can explore the mysteries of both time and space, always with the feeling that there is something magical just beyond our reach. As with all books that I really enjoy, I was sorry to get to the last page.

The Venus Blueprint, June 17, 2012
I have never written a review before but this book has broken boundaries and I want others to cross it and enter new realms of knowledge. Richard Merrick writes beautifully, but what he has to say is what is really important. His subject is enormously complex and I wondered whether I would be up to absorbing his material. I needn't have worried; he masterfully explains his theories, and takes you from stage to stage in his thrilling discoveries.

This is what life is all about; mystery, knowledge and exposure to new concepts. He has taken me onto the next stage of my journey through life. Buy this book and enjoy the revelations.

An excellent exploration. June 4, 2012
The Venus Blueprint is an observatory based writing with scientific and mathematically/geometrically supported concepts. This is a read for any one who is interested in cosmology, ontology, ancient history, etc. Richard Merrick writes in a style that is descriptive and technical; providing venue for both the laymen and the scholar to arrive at an understanding of his concepts. Richard Merrick does not skimp on his research and he his competent in many disciplines. Music theorists will get more of the technical side, while laymen will still get the concepts. The book is a refreshing view of human history, music, religions, and cosmology; all frozen in the Architecture of a Chapel in Scotland with so many secrets to tell...
