Temples of the Solar Gods

SolarGods
I have a hypothesis concerning the personification of temples. Since temples were designed after the proportions of the human body, the temple itself was viewed as the body of a particular god and so named. Read More...

The Venus Transit Thru Taurus

Taurus
For this Sunday, I thought I would post some screen captures I took from my iPad StarWalk app during the last Venus Transit on June 5-6, 2012. It depicts the most ancient mythology surrounding the concept of resurrection into the after life. Here's a brief summary. Read More...

The Solar Bull Origin

SolarBull
The association of the bull to solar resurrection is at least 12,000 years old. We find the sacred cow in Hinduism as Brahma, the creation god; in Canaan and Phoenicia as the sun god Ba'al; in Egypt as the Apis Bull; in Rome as a Bull's blood baptism for the cult of Mithras; and as a symbol of the Sun carved into a pillar at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey. But what exactly does it mean? Read More...

The Tudor Rose Symbolism

Tudor
Lewis Carroll's story of the queen "painting the roses red" in Alice in Wonderland was a veiled reference to the 15th-century "Wars of the Roses" in England. Orion and the Zoroastrian Magi

Orion
The Feast of Epiphany on January 6 ends the Twelve Days of Christmas. In the Roman Church, this is a feast celebrating the incarnation of God as a human being in Jesus Christ. It is typically associated with the story of Three Wise Men or Three Kings from the East who followed a "star" to find Jesus. Descended from Zoroastrian mythology, there is good evidence this story is an astrological allegory rather than a real event. Read More...

Bees are considered by many ancient cultures to be transcendental creatures. For example, the region of northern Egypt stretching from the Delta to Memphis was known as “Ta-Bitty,” or “the land of the bee.” Other civilizations based their mythology on a utopian land of milk and honey, considered to be the most abundant and fertile place imaginable. Bees were symbols of fertility not just in life, but also in the afterlife. Read More...

The Birth of World Religion from the Divine Proportion

Modern day religions are descended from a long lineage of personifications of celestial objects, namely the Sun, Moon and Venus. This post summarizes the evidence for harmonic physics as the founding principle behind religion. Read More...

Gravity as geometric resonance

There is another way of looking at the problem of gravity. For just a minute, let's agree that gravity is a function of the geometry of space (Einstein's geodesics) and that the total amount of energy (and thus mass) trapped in the Sun's gravity bubble was distributed as plasma according to simple harmonic laws. From this we should be able to estimate the size and spacing of the planets in our solar system using only geometry - no empirical observations at all other than to scale it to the Sun's radius. Impossible you say? Read More...
