The Golden Enneagram

The Enneagram is a nine-pointed star polygon, also known as a nonagram, that is often associated with certain esoteric and mystical qualities. First introduced to the West by George Gurdjieff, a Greek-Armenian mystic and spiritual teacher, it was the symbol of universal harmony used in his Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man and what later became known as The Fourth Way school. Evidence for ancient voyages to America

The established presence of Romans and probably Phoenicians in the Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa has led some researchers to suggest the islands may have been used as a stepping-off point for pre-Columbian journeys to the Americas... Read More...

The Birth of World Religion from the Divine Proportion

Modern day religions are descended from a long lineage of personifications of celestial objects, namely the Sun, Moon and Venus. In particular, the orbit of Venus creates a geometric pattern recognized in ancient times as proof of a divine ordering of the cosmos. This post summarizes the evidence for harmonic physics as the founding principle behind religion. Read More...

The Great Monomyth

There is a single thread to be found in all religions based on the annual death/ rebirth cycle of the Sun during the Winter Solstice. This has been personified from culture to culture using solar deities, each described as the Son (or Sun) of God. This post lists out the striking similarities. Read More...

The Lay of the Last Minstrel

I’ve written a lot about Rosslyn chapel and have found it to contain a wealth of ancient knowledge about acoustics. This post describes my latest findings on how its design maximizes resonance and sound propagation in the horizontal directions while suppressing vertical standing waves and echoes. I can only wonder how much they really knew. Read More...

Linking Merukh-t to America through Wales

The St. Matthew cover story for Rosslyn chapel

Rosslyn chapel as Venus StarKey

To really grasp the magnificent musical symbolism of Rosslyn chapel, please take some time to read and absorb the following. Mt. Meru, Part 2 - The real gold of Khufu

One of the things I came to understand during the writing of Interference was the association between the Fibonacci series ( 1,1,2,3,5,8, 13, etc., spiraling toward the golden ratio) and the mythology surrounding dragon-serpents. This post describes how this was symbolized in ancient Hindu mythology and connected with the planet Venus. Read More...

The Galaxy that Laid the Golden Egg

Our schools and churches do not tell us everything. They don’t tell us even the simplest things; things like the Earth-Moon system matches the geometry of a hen’s egg and that both are a containment property of the golden mean, Φ = (5 + 1) / 2. Read More...

Our Multi-Choice Reality

There is really something quite profound about how digital media technology is changing human society. We can never be sure that what we see in a magazine, on TV or at the movies is real or synthesized. Now more than ever, people have to choose which illusion they want to believe in. Seeing is no longer believing.

The Twin PIllars of Hercules

After finishing my last article Eleven that described my experience (and apparent widespread phenomenon) of 'seeing elevens', I watched this excellent video about this same subject. Avia Venefica's comments about the symbolic meaning of the double ones of eleven and its duality are right on target, which prompted me to further connect this phenomena with the physics and mythology of harmonic resonance.

How many mythological gods have had to battle the hydra, slay the python or behead the serpent-headed gorgon? 2012 as a harmonic number

Ok, here's something for all you 2012 fans out there. We all know that the Mayan calendar ends then and that McKenna's timewave theory derived from the IChing ends too. The Love of Venus

Ever wonder why people put a 5-pointed star on top of their Christmas tree or why we celebrate three wise men from the east who followed the Star of Bethlehem? The answer lies in the importance of the planet Venus to pre-Christian theosophies in proving the existence of a cosmic harmony and intelligence in Nature. Read More...

Symbols of Harmonic Physics

In my travels this Summer to Greece and Italy, I became more aware of how spirals were associated with the Underworld in ancient mythology and symbolism. In this post, I explore the correspondence of female deities of the Underworld and the ancient swas-tika symbol to an apparent knowledge of the physics of harmonic damping.

Outside or Inside?

There has been a long history of disagreement concerning the location of god. Some would claim god is a distinct personality that lives in a separate place called 'heaven' while others would claim god is in nature and inside ourselves. The way I see it, this is a crucial point that determines a person's entire world view and any sense of spirituality.

Gaudi magic square

The Medieval Symbol of Resonance

In the mid-1990s, I was involved in developing the Quest for the Holy Grail CD-ROM game with Monty Python. If you lived in Germany, you would not have known it under this name since the concept of the Holy Grail was not as well known. Instead, you will remember it as "Kokos Nuss" or "Coconuts," named after the low-budget clip-clop gag in the movie. The most challenging and memorable puzzle in the game involved the spanking of the Naughty Nuns of Castle Anthrax by Sir Galahad The Chaste. Needless to say, this was a fun game to play.

But while it was only a silly satire, it did get me thinking seriously about what the Holy Grail once signified and why it was so important in medieval Europe. This post describes my most recent theory about all that... Read More...

Correspondence of Solar Cycles to Social Cycles

There are many harmonic properties of the solar system, but perhaps the most amazing is this:

Sun radius / Mercury semi-major axis = 12 / 1000
695,000km / 57.91666Mkm = 12 / 1000

That is, the ratio of the Sun's sphere to Mercury's sphere measured from the center of the solar system is 12:1000.

In general, the Gaussian Interference function introduced in the book (which also balances at a resonance value of 12) can also be found to describe the cycle of sun spots. We are currently in a solar minimum with the fewest sunspots since at least 1913. Many of the intersection points of the sunspot cycle happen to correspond to recent events and may offer a broad predictor of future novelty events. This analysis uses the Reflective Interference function to compare the solar cycle to our social cycle, suggesting a causal link between the two. Read More...

The Golden Template

The golden ratio, golden rule, golden apples, golden pillars, golden fleece - everything was once modeled after nature and its perfect harmony.  Take a look at the attached analysis of Solomon's Temple by Issac Newton. It's all golden too. Newton believed the temple was a template for a chronology that didn't come to fruition in Western history. I think he was right.

A Truth Table for belief

I was recently asked if I felt the photographed anomalies on Mars, such as the humanoid sculpture, clear tubing and apparent trees near the ice caps, were empirical evidence. Decoding a Leaf

I have always wanted to take the time to understand how a highly variegated leaf, such as those on the post oak tree native to north Texas, grows the way it does. Are social cycles synchronized with solar cycles?

I'll begin by stating that I have never believed in astrology. The reason is I could never rationalize why planets or stars would have any measurable effect on us from such distances. This said, I have recently begun to understand this ancient craft from a different perspective.
