The Cymatic Structure of the Human Hand

In the diagram below, a 5-fold cymatic pattern was produced on a round plate using a 4:1 harmonic ratio. The x-ray of a human hand also exhibits a 4:1 opposition between the fingers and thumb. When the hand is then outstretched and overlaid on the cymatic pattern, we find a correspondence between nodal points in the pattern and joints in the human hand. Even the general shape of the bones in the palm fit within the inner pentagon.
